Default Hi from Louisiana

Hi, my name is Alexe. I hardly ever post anything, but now I have a question.
I recently took part in a "FabShopHop" anyway at one of the shops I saw that they will cut the edges on your charm packs so you can make a rag quilt. I didn't save this to my favorites, my mistake.
Does anyone know of a shop that does this.
Thanks

Welcome to the board! Do you know that you can cut the edges yourself??? Very easy to do after you get all your squares sewn together. Just snip them with scissors (or you can buy Rag Snips which are made especially for making rag quilts. They have a spring that helps open and shut the blades, which is a relief to your hands after all the cutting you will have to do!!!) Here is a video tutorial on how to make a rag quilt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-LQfYXrG_Q

I use my Fiskars rag snips. Mine were a gift but if you have a Joanns near you and get coupons they won't cost much at all. Witht he rag snips you can get smaller width cuts.

What you saw was probably the shop using an Accuquilt cutter. Those make larger width cuts.

Hi Ladies, I am sorry it took me so long to get back here. I had a few problems with signing in.
I do know I can cut the squares myself but I was feeling lazy and I just happen to have a pair of
those rag snips, I love the way they get real close to the thread to cut it off.
I want to Thank You both for taking the time to answe my post.
