Congratulations on your find! I recently had a garage sale and was thinning out my quilt studio...I had over 90 quilt books and sold them for $5 each - they went fast, as did the fabric I sold for $2/yard. My studio was fast becoming overcrowded, and I needed room to buy new fabrics during my trip to Sisters, Oregon!

RoxanneS,
Is Bargain World still open on South Tacoma Way in Tacoma? I used to love going in there. I have moved to Oregon and haven't been back but to visit my son every once in a while. Last time I was there The Duffel Bag was closing.

I don't know about South Tacoma way, the two stores I frequent are on Union St, not far from Pt Defiance Park, and on Pacific Ave, 162nd st, across from Spinkler Golf Course and Park. I have the best luck for books on Union, and fabric pieces on Pacific.
Also, great fun at St. Vincent de Paul's stores. A new one opened on Pacific and 128th St.

I'm always happy to hear about someone's lucky day. Funny, old quilt books are never really "old". They're always new to those who haven't seen them yet. Enjoy all those new books of yours!
