We are supposed to be getting a Hobby Lobby store in the near future. What can you tell me about their fabric department?

In my area, they do not open on Sundays. They do have a huge inventory of interesting and pretty home decor items and furniture, AND a fair amount of FABRICS!

Hobby Lobby has some very nice fabric! The last time I went there I was surprized to see how much they had! Have fun shopping!

I worked at Hobby Lobby for a few years (moonlighting) in the fabrics department.

They carry a variety of fabrics including their own Hobby Lobby line of fabrics.

I've seen really nice quality...all the way down to average quality. I have always bought their fabric and used it in everything I make.

Their prices are reasonable, and the nice thing about Hobby Lobby is they have a 40% off coupon every other week or so.

And all their stores are closed on Sundays - the founder/owner believes that people working for him should be able to enjoy one day with their families.

They have all grades ... craft quality and some that is pretty nice. I am making a quilt for my daughter using Hobby Lobby branded fabric right now ... yellow / white and a black print background with yellow and white floral - putting a pieced heart in the top - kinda cool - put a quick pic as my avatar for the night. But ... you will be happy with some of their fabric. The price is right and you can generally find a 40% off coupon online. Rambling - sorry.

Love shopping Hobby Lobby. Today I went browsing and was going to buy a swivel mat (for rotary cutting) and they were sold out. I asked if I could order one and still use my 40% off coupon. The clerk was very nice. She immediately put in on her list to order - said she will order on Monday and if it is in stock should be in Wednesday. So if in the future you need something it may be worth asking them to order for you!! Just thought I'd share that great experience.
