We will be visiting Alexandria this weekend and will have a bit of time to browse quilt shops. Does anyone know where the best one(s) is/are?

Thanks,

Darren

None in Alexandria, but the Quilt Patch is in Fairfax, Jinny Beyers in Great Falls, VA. Artful Quilter in Burke, VA. Not to far from Alex. About an hour to each one in non-rush hour traffic.

There is a G Street in Falls Church. Those of us that knew G Street in its heyday find it a bit disappointing, but you may like it.

Ah, so that great little shop in Alexandria closed? I can't remember the name (it was a few years ago) but she had a great selection of real African and Japanese fabrics. Too bad.

The Quilt Patch is a great shop, and though I haven't been to the Artful Quilter since they moved from Centreville, it also had a nice eclectic selection.

I have heard the artful quilter is closing...too bad, but the others mentioned are great shops, if you get out to Manassas, Old Town needle Craft is a great shop and ...the Sewing Circle in Woodbridge is a great shop, Parker is a doll, she owns the shop and loves people....have fun....

I'll keep the Manassas shop in mind. Thanks.
