    I made a quilt and sent it to my SIL who is going through Chemo treatments for Ovarian cancer and it appears to be lost. It was suppse to arrive at her house in MD the day the hurricaine hit, and it is still not there. The USPS cannot find any info when trying to track it. Back to the drawing board. I'll have to make her another one!

    I am so sorry to hear that! I will keep my hopes up that it still shows up, so don't give up.

    I hope it can be found and returned, but if not may the person that finds it. see that it go's to a good home. You may never know the good you missing quilt can do for somebody that has lost everthing. would it be nice if this is how it all worked out. Here hopeing that your quilt got to the right person. {your sister}

    Deb, I wouldn't give up on it. I use USPS a lot and have never (shouldn't say that!) had anything lost yet.
    I better go knock on my wood table lol

    I'd wait for another week or two before I started on another quilt. It may show up....I hope it does!

    Did you use delivery confirmation? Even if you did not, have the post office check with the route delivery person on duty that day. They might remember. But, it is all a long shot. Good luck.
