I had one of these years ago and yes theye are great, one problem, they dont work on size 12 quilting needles -- or at least they didn't, perhaps the newer ones do ! I would certainly buy one if that's the case.

I'm not sure what the smallest needle they will work on is. I'll ask the LQS if they know. But they only work on needles with OVAL eyes.

I know! I ;have 2 of them. One for my sewing room and one for when we are on the road. The only thing I have against it is that it won't thread more than on thread. Like when I am embroidering and use multiple strands. Just the other day I ordered some of those self threading needles.

For free?!!! Man! I think I paid $12.00 or maybe more for mine. It has been a few years ago. Like maybe 4 or 5.

You can buy them at Jhittlesewing.com. They had an offer of 3 for 10 cents when I placed my last order.

I have one of these and do like it but it won't work on the small eye needles. But they are great for the larger needles.

Joanns closest to me had them for $14.00 but I got it for 1/2 off. Love it!!! Need to buy an extra one to keep upstairs by the sofa which I sometimes do hand work. Highly recommend it.
