Hi Everyone,

I'm ready to bind this little table runner I've recently made, and am a bit stymied as to how to bind this darlin'. I'm not having much luck finding what I'm looking for on the net, and I don't have the proper binding 'tool'.

I have 2.25" folded binding all prepared and ready to go. In fact, I already started sewing it down one side of my table runner. I came to the corner, not the usual 90° angle that I've done, and went "Hmm". I sure would appreciate some help with this.

Thanks so much.

I've saved a very detailed tutorial which should answer your question.
Hope this helps.

Cut your binding to go past the corner by about 2". Use your ruler, most have 45' angles drawn on them, this should help you to get the angle you need.

I didn't see the previous post, just follow the tutorial.

Thanks! That's an excellent tutorial!! I was on the right track, just didn't have the angle quite right. When I get it on right and done, I'll post a pic. You guys are the BEST! :D

Oh my goodness! I just made the very same runner (of course diff. fabrics) for a swap. I goofed up the FMQing so am redoing that part, but in the meantime, I too was wondering how to do the binding. Thanks for asking and for the tip.

How about that? I'm really glad I asked then. Most generally, there's more than one of us wondering how to do something. Best of luck with finishing yours. I do hope you'll post a pic when you're done. :D
