Default ?'s about Scalloped border.

I bought the Easy Scallop templates by Darlene Zimmerman. I have not used it and read the directions and I have a question. In step tree after you mark your scallops it SAYS DO NOT CUT ON THE MARKED LINE. HOW CAN YOU BIND IF YOU DON'T CUT ON THE SCALLOP LINE? Can anyone help with this.

they probably want you to sew the binding on one side first, then cut the scallops. here's a link that shows how to do it. http://ludlowquiltandsew.co.uk/artic...quilt-binding/

That is not the way that I learned but it does make sense to avoid the wonky of the border if you cut before. Just be careful on dealing with the pivot point.
