I saw a rug making video that had you tie the strips into a large, loose knot to prevent tangles. I would put them over a hanger, and secure them with a smaller piece of scrap tied just tight enough to stay in place and not slide off.

OM gosh. I'm getting a couple of pms from OCD people saying the hanger hooks are not in line, the strips are not evened up, or sorted by color and it is driving them nuts. I don't have an OCD bone in my body. So no I'm not changing how the strips are hung. LOLOLOL

I get crazy pms all the time. Some make no sense at all. But many are very nice and informative.

You can find them on Amazon, Walmart, etc.
Look for Artbin fabric strip case.

Once I open a jelly roll, I cut the strips in half, starch, etc.
Whatever is left after the project is stored... wherever. LOL

I saw a pic somewhere of strips hung from shower curtain hooks on a curtain rod. Rulers were also hung the same way. You could easily see the colors, designs, sizes of the strips, and they were easy to take down & use just the ones you wanted. Rulers were easy to see & remove/replace too. Clever.

I bought mine at Hobby Lobby with the 40 percent coupon. I have two, one for storing left over jelly rolls and one for the jelly roll I am using.

How do I store my jelly roll fabric?
I have a bunch of those clear plastic containers from the grocery store (when I purchase leaf lettuce). I wash them out and use them for my fabrics. Our house gets dusty with burning firewood. Keeping in the clear containers is a great help!
