the quilt is by no stretch finished..still have to put reflections of trees in water..and a few other things..then Ill tackle that back..Dottie

Love the quilt...backing fabric is gorgious! I can see where it would be impossible to take out the stitching! Looking forward to seeing your solution to the problem!

Thank you. backing was crumpled while wet..then let it dry crumpled..then airbrushed..used acrylics...also painted sky and water with acrylics..Thanks again ...Dottiej

Dottie, I would put a new back on it and just outline the main parts. Put your binding on and be done with it. Art quilts are just that, ART. As they say Art is in the eye of the beholder. LOL :)

I would put another back on it also and make it reversible they may want to judge both sides , would'nt that be a HOOT! Best of luck your quilt sounds beautiful on the front.

I have framed a wall hanging before. It was an odd size, so I had one custom built. I don't have to worry about cleaning anything except the glass and wood. It is awesome, and I have had many people comment on it. I wish I could afford to have more wall hangings framed.
