I only have 2. A 6"x24" Fiskars ruler and a 60 Degree Diamond ruler. I used the second one for my Lonestar quilt.

Good for you!
If I had read that tip about not buying something you have to learn how to use, and then, if I had actually followed the advice, I could have bought a LOT more fabric.
It is true. Most quilts can be cut using just that first ruler ... though I use the Omnigrid rulers ... and, I rarely need the 24" length, thanks in part for the 60mm rotary cutters.

I have a 6x24inch, 12 and a half inch square and then two small squares (I think a 6" and a 3") and one little ruller, like 1"x6". I use these all the time

I have the standard ones and a bunch of others.

Aside from the 12 1/2" square, I don't use the ones with the extra 1/2" added to one side - like the 6 1/2" by 24". It's too easy to measure from the wrong side and mess it up!

While that's probably true, in my defense  , I do prefer the smaller ones for cutting smaller pieces, especially for squaring up as I don't have the strength in my hands that I used to, it's just easier picking up something size appropriate. I do use my 6 x 18 and 6 x 24 for making the initial cuts off the fabric.

I also own a few  other specialty rulers that I haven't yet used, or haven't yet learned how to, ie. the Wonder Cut Ruler and the Flying Geese x4.

LOL, we were just talking about rulers in chat and at my guild, we are thinking of having a program, where we bring in our unused rulers and someone shows us how to use them. glad i am not alone.

okay ... I have Quiltgranny blushing over my offhanded comment, and now I have GOT to show you why I sound so ... I didn't mean to sound smug, what I was trying to do was encourage someone who didn't have to deal with :

but, remove the hats and close the door, and ....

at first glance it looks like a handy hat manager with some quilting stuff around in there

a 4x8 foot piece of pegboard with multiple layers of tools and rulers and a person who is trying to figure out where she left her pegs ... they are in here somewhere!
