A friend of mine has made several Bricks & Stepping Stones quilts for charity (http://www.quiltville.com). Well, after seeing her working on them all the time, I decided to put one together. Once I got mine together, I loved it so much that I sat down in the floor of my studio and pulled all of my larger scraps out of my scrap tote yesterday, and I've spent the majority of today cutting bricks, bricks and MORE bricks! My scrap pile in the floor has dwindled but is still pretty large, so I feel sure I'll spend all day tomorrow doing the same thing. At this rate, I'll be cutting bricks in my dreams!

I know what you feel like this. I am going to be dreaming about red for quite awhile, and I won't be making another red quilt for some time!

Check out http://www.quiltville.com/bricksandstones.shtml. Bricks, at least in this pattern, are 3.5" x 6.5" :)
