When we bought my doublewide, I picked the room on the end.Has 2 windows. It's cramped but it's my hideaway.I have fabric stacked to the ceiling on bread racks I got free from a thrift store. My window looks up my road & I can see if anyone is coming.I need to straighten it up, have soaps on racks too. Am planning to attending a spring festival in North Augusta.Set up my table & sell soap.My dogwood tree is outside the window & the birds gather in it.I love cardinals, get alot of them.Blessings to all.

I have by default!!! About 2 years ago we were having some work done on our home and the contractor found a problem that turned into a new sewing studio for me. Love it as I can leave things and come back and pick up right where I left off. Before this wonderful room I used the Dining Room and had to move all the time.

I have a room on the second floor off my bedroom that is my sewing room (9x12). When we moved here 5 years ago I was all excited to finally have a room dedicated to sewing.... which no longer meant sewing in a corner of my bedroom and having to pack it away in the attic every time I finished sewing. Now I'm fantasizing about tearing down walls and eliminating bedrooms just to be able to have a BIG sewing room where I can buy whole collections of fabric by the bolt.... my own little quilt shop....sigh..... hey, why dream if you can't dream big?

Those of you who have a sewing room you are so lucky. I live in an apartment and I have to put things in closets, cabnets, and corners and sew at the kitchen table. Some day I will get a room of my own.
