What pattern books do you recommend? I am going to start saving for one and thought it would be fun to hear what books are recommended and maybe see some great pictures!

I have done a tone of them! I use to get the mag. Miniture Quilts, then they went out, I still have alot of their patterns.

I have a couple of the Miniature Quilt magazines, too, and they have some really nice patterns. You could probably find some of them online for fairly cheap (I got mine off of a book swapping site, Bookmooch, but whether there are any there now or not, I don't know)

We are doing Doll Quilt swaps (really miniature quilts) on this board. Take a look there in the swaps and round robins section.

I have several books, but I'm very happy right now with the Miniatures in Minutes technique. The author has done several classes at our LQS and I've now done 5 quilts using her technique. It involves paper piecing, but the the quilt center (not borders) is done using only one foundation.

I have a number of mini and small quilt books, but mostly I just look at a picture of a quilt, and reproduce it myself.
