I actually do not have a set time, but when I feel that the shelves with the fabric are looking sloppy, I straighten up a bit.

Not often enough. I just keep the door closed.

My sewing room is the dining room, so it gets tidied whenever I have a visitor. And every Thursday, before the housekeeper/cook comes.

Honestly, as I go, because it bothers my concentration to be in a mess. But, I do stack the fabrics/things that need putting away on a step stool until the end of the project.

I clean up after each project and deep clean about once a month. I have little bit of OCD so I have real issues with clutter so I try to keep everything straight.

Oh lordy. I like a clean organized room but I tend to work on multiple projects which gets messy. So I have piles on all table top surfaces along with the plastic bins of fabric for each project. Then I have piles of purchases that need to be put away as well. I am able to whip it all into some kind of shape though if I'm expecting a visitor.

I vacuum/dust/swiffer about twice a month. Luckily I have a painted floor so it's easy to keep swiffered.

LOL! Quiltngolfer and Maggie_Sue, it's just that I don't enjoy working in a cluttered environment, and if I don't swiffer every day, I'll get hairs on long pieces of fabric that trail on the floor when being pressed. Some people enjoy working in a disorganized environment;in fact, I read that extremely creative people tend to be messier. Whatever works!
