I give for the love of giving. If I get a thank you, I am happy. If I don't, that's ok, too. That's not why I did it in the first place.

I agree 100% :thumbup: I enjoy making quilts to give away and it doesn"t have to be a B/day or other special day its knowing that some one needs to know they are thought of as Special or just to see a smile :-)

I agree 100%, You never know what the future holds for you, but to give something to someone, even a stranger, is it's own reward.

i agree.. I make quilts just to make them. we keep them in our vehelcles n when we see people walking especially in the cole winter all bundled up.. we stop n give them one of the quilts just to do it.... its awesome.. especially when we see the looks on their faces when.... they were not expecting it and neither were we... its sooo awesome
