Most of the walmart's I run across here in Texas have been really scaled back. This really presses my button. WallyWorld came in strong in these little towns, ran out all the Moms/Pops.....Then they want to close the fabric areas....now people are forced to go elseware for fabric. My mother is 80 and only goes to the big town if she has someone to drive her. there are no choices for her. Many people are in her shoes. Now we hear that they are going to fix it with prepackaged fabric. Translated, this means no one to cut fabric and if you do find some one, it will more than likely be the young person who would really rather not be there. Oops. I went back & read what I have so far. This must really push my BUTTON. Thank you for being there.

Ours has been gone over a year and I only go there once a month now, if then... Rather give my money to the other
local stores if possible. There is only one in town with fabric
left and it is on the other side of town. Just go to Hobby Lobby
with my coupon two miles away. WM loss!

Me too. I figured out that for most things the grocery store had them just as cheap and sometimes cheaper. The service is so bad I would rather go to the hardware store across the street. Once in awhile I will go in for household products IF I can't find it at the dollar store.:-)

I was told the same thing at our Salem, OR store on Mission St. Sale rep. said to just keep calling that 1-800 #. Seems to be working!

Glad to hear it for you ... maybe they'll rethink it for more of their stores. Ours here haven't had fabric on the bolt for 3-4 yrs now. Only cheesy fat 1/4s and a few precuts

Thank you for the heads up about Walmart selling fabric. I live in Perry Hall, MD and I never knew that they sold fabric there.
