Heartfelt hugs and smiles as I, too, share in your tears of joy and of loss. My thanks are added to the many others to you and your husband for the sacrifices made in service to our country, as well as to all the other veterans and those currently serving. We stand together as we sew together to give a token of our selves in a quilt for our veterans and those in service. Thanks, too, for a wonderful post to remind us all that the need for quilts is ever present.

My husband is a VN vet also, and I really do send my sincere sympathies for your loss. I am so glad another VietNam vet got your quilt. It seemed destined to end up with one of our finest from the Viet Nam era. Thank you for doing a wonderful thing!

How wonderful that a fellow veteran of the Veitnam War has received your quilt...Glad that those are happy tears...I have a friend that is also fighting the effects of Agent Orange.

What a beautiful story! I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband. My husband is also a Vietnam veteran (Army). I'm glad a Vietnam veteran was honored with your beautiful quilt. Can you post a picture?

I'm so very sorry for your loss , but I'm so happy to hear that his quilt will be loved by a fellow vet.
