I am liking quilts with some black or white, not together

I made a quilt for my daughter's 21st birthday it was made of black and white squares with red applique hearts.
for my son's christmas present, i used black and white leafy prints with green leaves appliqued on to them.

I love black and white, but I always have to add some red. My favorite 3 color combo. I have noticed lately you see the black and white and then using a bright yellow or bright green as accent. I haven't tried that yet, but will probably in the future.

I just finished a black and white only, memory quilt tonight...will be quilted and delivered to customer this saturday, will send pics when its quilted. I didn't think I would like it but I think its stunning
