Good idea! I had a round roof skylight added to my sewing room. The roofer had it installed in a few hours. It's fantastic during the day! It's like being outside. I have Ott light bulbs for night time sewing.

Add some of the new LED lights to the bar as you can afford them. They are still very expensive but they will last years and are wonderfully bright!!!! I have been buying one bulb a month since they were introduced - they are wonderful for working on quilting.

My daughter had track lighting in her kitchen and it created a LOT of heat. Good light but uncomfortable, esp with the stove running, too. They finally took it down and installed a ceiling fan with lighting

Great idea, and great helpers. It sure makes it nicer when you can see things clearly

Looks great. The more light the better.
