I wanna try sewing sq triangles together without cutting off the little points that stick out (Yes being lazy)will this cause a problem down the road?

It can cause bulkingness and be harder to quilt. Depending on the size of the quilt and the size of the triangles (large quilt, small triangles) It can even add some unwanted wieght. Also sometimes they show through after quilting. At least those are the things I've been told.
In the end, it's your creation you can do as you please. There's no rules other than what works for you.
If you get an Accucut Go they'll already be cut off when you cut them.

All the things raptureready says are true. However I never cut off the points and none of those things have happened to me... yet.

Fro best results it is better to cut off the points for it is deciving as to where the 1/4 in point should be. With out the point it is very easy to see where it is.
