Default UGGHH tried machine quilting my quilt.

I purchased a quilting frame from Kenneth Lund. I was so excited...but my downfall was for my first ever quilt I quilted I used JoAnn's minky..HEHEHEHE not the thing to do for my first ever quilted quilt.

I had trouble getting all the fabric rolled on the rollers. It was just a mess from beginning to end..hehehe I won't name them all..

So now I am going to try an all cotton quilt and see if I get better results. I sure hope so because I am pretty discouraged. Good thing this is a camping quilt because I don't care how it looks..

And I am going to start saving money and get a longer arm machine.

Good luck in your quilting - I'm still at the practice, practice, practice stage on the DSM.

    yes to practice, practice.

I do not like using minky. I put it on the back of crib bumper pads and said, never gain. It moved so much.
