Merry Christmas everyone. I am wondering if there will be after christmas fabric sales. Used to be one of the best times for shopping right after christmas. I saved some money just in case. Let me know if you hear of any sales. Thanks. Teresa

Teresa, the local shops have great sales the day after Christmas, usually open around 6:00 and are crazy after about 9:00 AM. Everything goes really fast and lines are long, so be prepared and put anything you want in buggy right away. You can always put it back if you decide you really don't want it (before you cut it). Actually, most of the shops start the last week and start marking down, so day after is what is left---still great deals.

I'm so glad this was mentioned~ I just checked the website of our local shop and they do say they will have end of year sales! I didn't think they ever had a sale. Not that I have any $$ to spend! lol!

I'm curious too. I got a Joanns GC and $$ from my inlaws. How does Joanns usually do?

Check out www.quiltshops.com - there are over 225 online quiltshops that participate. In the search bar, type in what you are looking forward and then the word sale. I really like this website.

BTW- I just gave my ten year old granddaughter her first sewing machine today - the Janome Hello Kitty as in your Avatar....great machine and I really wanted to keep it myself!!

Thousands of Bolts is having a great sale, as well as both the Eleanor Burns sites.
There is another thread going on this very subject.

In my latest Joann's ad for Dec. 26-Jan. 8, the big sale is on yarn. They also have 50% off red tag clearance fabric. They also have a New Year's sale starting on Dec. 30. Fleece and flannel and "fancy" fabrics (bridal, satins, etc) are also on sale.
