Please explain to me why people are so excited about bow tuck bags.....I just don't see the attraction. Perhaps it's just me and I haven't found the right color combination yet. I'm glad you guys have found something you are so thrilled with sewing, I'll just stick with the quilts I guess.

I don't get it either, but I really liked the batik ones the best.

Good question???? I'm not a "purse" person. If I can throw my licence and stuff in my pocket, I am a happy camper. I have one purse, for every occasion.

You know, I was wondering the same thing and would have asked myself, but was afraid I would offend someone. I had to do a search to see what they were.

PS they are cute though

I guess they're not for you, then! :D

I like them...I like the coordinating fabrics. I like that you could coordinate one to an outfit.

Do I have one? Not yet.

I had wondered the same thing, but thought maybe it was someone on this board who had designed the pattern, and many were supporting her. maybe someone else has a better idea. There are thousands of bag and purse patterns out there

I think some people are excited about the bow tucks because they are something fairly simple to make and we can use our creative side to add to it, if we want. I also think they are a nice thing to make for gifts for they are very usable. Not everyone likes the same thing and I am sure the bow tuck is something you just don't like....could you tell us what you don't like about them?

Yeah, I don't get it myself. I'm here for the quilts not the purses or coasters. But to each his own!

And I never use the one I have.
