also remember that the Rayon will not shrink evenly. One sleeve or leg could shrink up more than the other and more than once. I used to work for a dry cleaner and people used to bring in clothing that they washed accidentally and wanted us to "fix" them....
Uh, it really doesn't work that way..

My Grandmother quilted with all kinds of fabrics - including rayons. The old crazy quilts were odd-shaped pieces of all kinds of fabrics left over from making clothes. The same quilt would have wool, velvet, cotton, linen - whatever was available. Be creative - use all those fabulous fabrics.

I agree with the lady that offered the idea of chenille made from the rayon. I have quite a bit that I have planned on putting on my quilt machine and make chenille yardage. It is more soft and drapy than cotton, and is great for wearables,such as a vest or jacket.

I ditto this..why keep something that you "might" use when others can put it to good use making clothes for their kids, etc...

I can see lots of utility quilts and donation quilts in my future!
