Wow! This rug is really nice! It just went up today, I'm gonna keep an eye on it, see where it goes!!

Take a look:

There's another that looks kinda like another quilt pattern I've seen in strip piecing - bargello comes to mind, but I could be wrong...

From what the seller said, there are more to come so if I don't get this one there may be another one in the next batch. They were surprised that there was so much interest in the rug. I told them, "you don't know quilters!!"

These rugs are so pretty! I've been looking at the detail of them and wondering about the women who made them - would these been to them what quilt making is to all of us? A labor of love or the one bright spot in their days?

that's a horrible amount for shipping - $16.95, outrageous. they are making money just on the shipping.

That depends - priority shipping is expensive, but parcel post isn't much cheaper anymore. I think it depends on where you live. They seem to be in the farthest Northwest corner of the US, when you figure in the shipping supplies (unless you can find them for free), I'd doubt that they make anything on shipping. I checked the feedback, I see where they've reimbursed the difference when they figured it wrong. ( I read too much <g>)
