WOW-I've never heard of such a wonderful gift for a bridemaid-and so nice to hear you will be paid for your skill. That is great.

It sounds like she is paying a good rate, and she bought the fabric, pattern etc.... I bet you have a great time! I love having a deadline....as opposed to just doing what I want. I get more done! Congratulation on your "job"!

Deborah, It would be fun to see the pattern she picked out. It sounds, as though, you'll be busy for the whole year. Enjoy your time making these quilts. Do you do your own quilting, also? Do you have a LA? Please show us your progress as you make these quilts. Thanks. Eiltcoq.

Good Luck. Keep us posted on how you are doing. That many quilts can be overwhelming. The money sure sounds good though.

I too have been roped into doing wedding sewing!!! My date is the end of April. Table runners, flower girl dress, fairy flower girls outfit alterations. So much to do, so little time and I'm not getting paid the $$ . . . . Oh yea, I'm the mother of the bride. ;)

If you keep to a schedule, 4 quilts by Christmas should be doable. Good luck! Keep us posted on your progress.
