I agree...I hate it too! I've tried just about every method. It would help immensly if I had a great place to spread out and actually do it, but....I'm thinking that for my next one I will ask a LA'er what they would charge me to do that part for me.

June Tailors from WM does the job. It's still holding my wall hanging together (and it's still sticky) that I sprayed 3-4 months ago. I'd rather spend $8.00 a can then $15.00 for one that does the same job.

I hate basting too, I put it on my dining table now and get the desk chair out and wheel from left to right, It usually stays there for as long as it takes, but at least I don't have to stand bend over and hurt my back etc. Works for me.

I bought the pinmoor and have used them on a couple of quilts. I love them.You will never need to replace them once you buy them because they self seal.
They make all colors and they make green for fisher men for men who make there own fly fising hooks.

This is THE ONLY WAY to go , am surprised that so many don't , when I found this method by Sharon Scamber I was overjoyed.
