It also works when you spritz the paper using one of the small plant (or dog) spritz bottles. That's what I have used in the past.

That is a geat tip! I will def try it next time I PP. Last time is wet the whole block with a spritzer bottle. I had to iron to dry it. Thanks!!

I have recommended this for years in paper piecing - it works fantastically - along with a very short stitch length.

Never thought about testing colorfastness with it however!! Great idea!
