Speaking of yo-yo ornaments. I'm not a yo-yo fan at all, but years ago I found a wreath about 4" diameter made of small stuffed yo-yos and strung together through the middle of each and tied into a wreath shape with a bow at the top. It was made by a local crafts guild in NE TN mountains. I bought one for a pattern (well, more to remind me to make some later).

This is another good way to use up those scraps, and the wreaths are really cute. I'll try to remember to get a photo/pattern/directions done and posted after the Christmas to-do settles down.

And, I think I'll get a basket ready with the makings to put beside my chair again. These are the things I like to do while watching TV or while on trips--a quite portable project.
