You are a lucky girl! And be glad he had the presence of mind to have you with him when he bought it. I went to a beginning sewing class once and the husband of one of the gals there surprised her with a brand new sewing machine. When the teacher was explaining the different parts of the machine, the gal looked more and more confused. She finally told the teacher she wasn't understanding anything, so we all looked at her machine and it was a serger!!

That's so thoughtful of your DH. It would never occur to me to wait on DH to buy me a machine, he has no idea when I bought the last one or the next to the last one.

Do you mean a Janome 7700? If that is what you got it is a wonderful sewing and quilting machine. Enjoy!
