Default My honey bought me a present!

Actually, I asked for them. We went to Lowes and got me some soft knee pads to wear while I'm crawling around on our tile floor sandwiching a quilt. The outside of them is rubberized, so I can also use them in the yard without ruining them.

They are a wonderful tool! You might find other uses for them that you have not thought about yet, too. They come in very handy when it's time to clean out your bottom cabinets.

My husband bought a set of those when he was roofing - saved his knees. I can't get on my knees anymore due to surgeries. Isn't it amazing what quilting tools we have!

What a great idea! I fell a few weeks ago and really bruised my left knee--to the point that I still cannot kneel on it without pain. I am going to look for a pair of knee pads. Thanks!

What a good idea, I hadn't thought about using them. Pretty smart.

I wear my knee pads for working on the floor sandwiching my quilts. Out of all the padding I have, my knees are sure boney.

That's a great idea - another I never would have thought of! (Tartan, you are hysterical...I feel the same way... bony knees and elbows I can feel, but what happened to the rest of me??!)

Oh, I forgot to mention that I asked a clerk where they were and she took me to them. There were at least 15 different styles to choose from. When I said I wanted to use them while sandwiching a quilt, she looked at me and said "You quilt?" Then started telling me about the quilts she's made and helped me to pick the most comfortable ones. It was amazing and fun to find a fellow quilter at Lowe's when I needed one
