Cool Spring Break QUILT SHOPS?

Hi! We're planning a spring break getaway to Florida! I'd love to make a bit of time to visit local shops on the way back home to Chicagoland and/or while in Sarasota & Siesta Key {plus I'd like to do a day or two at Marco Island or Sanibel}. Are there must see quilt related shops/shows/museums in the area(s)? Thank you.

You don't say what route you plan to travel so here are a few places. If you are going to be on west coast a little north of Clearwater, Fl. is a great shop called Rainbows End. Advertised as biggest shop in the state. Don't know about that but have been there many times and it is a great shop. If going near Pensacola area go to A&E Drugstore, they have a fantastic selection of fabrics. There is small quilt shop in Pace, Fl. just over the bridge from Pensacola. Love it there. On Hwy 59 in Summerdale AL, just up from the beaches, area, is a shop called Fabric by the Pound, also great place.

If your going near Jacksonville, there is a shop called Cinnamon's that I just love. There might be more in Jax, but I haven't gone to them.

Last time I was in Pensacola, the shop in Milton (across the river) was closing. They are keeping a web site, though.

There was another Fabric Outlet, I think named Fabric Outlet, north of Pensacola on US-29, in Cantonment. Haven't been there in a while, though.

Thank you for the responses. I haven't determined the actual route yet----letting DH know my preferred route AFTER researching shops. LOL had to plan for some shopping along the way. =)
