found it at the thrift store. They are asking $12 for sewing table and all. I think it said it was made in Italy. Anybody got anything to tell me about it? Are parts even available?

All I know is that Necchi's made in Italy are great machines. You should grab it!

I would say get it. I paid $35 for a Necchi BF yesterday that has missing parts. Billy calls Necchi the "Ferrari" of sewing machines. I will let you know how mine runs when I find some parts.

Did you end up buying this machine? I acquired one, too. Mine runs - the mechanism is very quiet compared to some of my other machines. The belt made more noise than the metal parts did.

I haven't played with it since the new belt was put on it, though.
