If anyone has some suggestions for a theme for a rodeo wall quilt I'm all ears. I usually don't pay a lot of attention to our rodeo every year because I'm so used to it, but being close to the rodeo grounds I can't help but notice how much traffic there has been all week. It's usually just a weekend thing.
I picked up the paper last night and I almost passed out--Guymon Ok Rodeo has been recognized as the PRCA's largest outdoor rodeo of the year. There are 860 contestants entered this year, so they started it yesterday. I just could not believe it. It is usually #10. So I thought I really need a wall quilt to remember this year.
Can you tell, I'm so proud of our little town right now (pop. around 15,000)

I have paper-piecing patterns for cowboy hat and cowboy boot blocks.. I got them on-line. I would just google Western Quilt Blocks and see what pops up.. that's half the fun IMHO....
