I have the Janome 8900( or is it an 8800?). So not good at numbers! It has an 11 inch throat,Led lighting,is smooth as butter. Iam not too hot at FMQ yet, but. It compensates for my inexperience ...no "eyelashes" etc.

I have the Baby Lock Jane on a long arm table. It is terrible.
Dont do it.
This machine has a complicated threading and a bobbin case under the machine. Not good on a long arm table.
You have to take it all the way to the end of the table to thread it.
The throat area is to small also.
So it sits taking up alot of space in my sewing room waiting till I can save up for at least an 18 in throat machine.
Oh and just try to pull up the bobbin thread before sewing, not going to happen.
