Smile I wanted to share the quilt boarder I made with the Creative Grids Trapezoid

This was a supper fun class, and I found the ruler to be user friendly. This baby quilt is for my DH's nephew and his wife for their new arrival.

BTW, the red looking squares are really a raspberry color. My camera distorted the color.

Adorable, looks like the French braid. I want to make one of those.

Your quilt is so sweet and cheery...perfect for a baby quilt. I love the border.

I have always done that with a foundation fabric that has the lines printed but it's great to know that it can be done without and still turn out great. I hate always having to buy the foundation fabric. Would be money ahead to purchase the ruler!!

That's a happy little quilt.

I've done the French Braid border on quils. Great way to use up scraps, too.

That is so pretty! The border really makes the quilt. How hard was it to make?
