I found someone to put my quilt top on the backing fabric with filler inbetween!! I am so relieved. I have had the best time with these hexigon shapes, the icon I use was the first baby quilt using the thick plastic shapes that help me hold my fabric.

With my hands shaking back and forth, machine needle up and down I have feared to complete the project. A friend will stop by to add the backing and I will hand sew the binding !! Yeah !! My grand niece will finally get her quilt !!!

Thank you, the corners are always perfect!! I love these flexable templates that pop out! I have purchased more fabric for another one!

Thank you, I am so happy to get back into quilting ! I have so much time to do something, sewing by hand is so easy! My nieghbor just had a baby. I gave away one of my last sock monkeys I have made. That is over 200. I do miss the sewing machine days. The sock monkeys are fun to do too.

Baby was born three weeks early in May. I had the quilt top done that month and shared with other's through this site. Have tried several attempts to finish the top and bottom.. but not too successful. the sawtooth is too difficult. I think next time I will add more fabric to the sides and top and "frame" the quilt to finish it as a rectangle piece.

That is the "planning" ahead smart thing. This one I just started and fell in love with it the way it was !!

More planning will go into next one for sure !
