sorry no photes, but i saw pinwheels done recently with fruit and veggie fabric and it was SO cute.
just a thought. . .

Here is a free pattern for the bug jar quilt you could make them narrower and taller of even smaller.

I used belmers tut to make microwave fabric bowls using fruit and veggie fabric. Easy, quick and turned out great. And they work like a charm.
I can't post a pic. Batteries in my camera are goners.

I think an appliqued quilt with baskets and the fruits and veggies over flowing from them would be cute :D:D:D

I am planning to make one with canning jars - but only for those items that can be canned. Thanks amma, I now know what to do with the items that can't be canned.

Lovely projects! i have some of the same fabrics left over from an i spy quilt i made for my grandson Ben.
i have my 5th grandson on the way, due is Decemeber.maybe i will try the jars this time..baby food jar size!
