Since I have the whole house to myself andI don't go out often [well to get more faric or notions] I don't need to be locked up to do my quilting. I will say even at the rate I go I still won't use up all my fabric before I die. I should stop buying but there is always another pretty, or interesting fabric to be bought. I love to piece tops just haven't gotten the quilting part down other than some FMQ. I am so glad I have this hobby.

I would be skinny when I emerged......LOL

I could easily make about 100 tops alone. In my closet I have enough batting to make one quilt start to finish. I would have to have someone slide the rest of the batting under the door, since I keep it in another closet.

I would have turned into a skeleton long before all of my fabric is used up.

Ditto!!!!!!!!!!

I just hope they left me with a bucket or something or I would end up having to use some of the fabric for diapers on myself.

I second that emotion ... but wouldn't complain. Since I, too, have the whole house to myself (BIG house ... I raised 3 kids here), it would take me TWO lifetimes to use all this fabric, batting, thread, etc. But ... it sure would be a nice way to live a second life!

I have something fabric related in EVERY room in the house, including the bathrooms because those quilting books and magazines sure make good reading material!

Same here. It would be hundreds of quilts and decades. I would never use it all up. However, that doesn't stop me from buying more fabrics when it calls my name!!!
