I am looking for a pattern for the Christmas ribbon quilt. I purchased a book with the traditional pattern in it but the one I am looking for has the ribbons broken and random. Has anyone seen that. I saw in a quilt shop on a past trip but don't remember where. Everyone that I have emailed sends the same pattern as my book has.

See if this one is different than what you have.

Is this the pattern you are thinking of

    http://www.amazon.ca/SCRAP-BASKET-SU...8854351&sr=8-2

It is in the book "Scrap Basket Surprises". It is a really nice book and you can probably find it cheaper somewhere.

that is the book I have but the pattern was changed, the ribbons only connect for about 8-10" and then there is a beige spot where it is broken and then it picks up again for 8-10". It is really beautiful.

Hmmm, I wonder if it is the same pattern with a twist on block placement. Now I am very curious. I will have to keep looking for the variation you are talking about. If I find anything I will post a link.
