My mom. She begged me to take time to sew with her. Now that I have time, she can only watch from Heaven. She's been gone since 2008. :(

My Mother quilted with her sisters all my life but I was never interested. About 10 yrs ago I got the bug but sadly my Mom passed away before I got my first quilt finished. I would love to be able to spend a day with her and see how amazed she would be that I am so devoted to quilting. I know that can't happen so my second choice would be Charisma..her LAQ is sooo amazing!

My grandmother. She was going to teach me to hand quilt as soon as I finished the piecing. Unfortunatly, she passed before I got it done. It was several years before I was able to even look at the quilt top again. I did finally hand quilt it, my 1st, and felt her presence the whole time. I still miss that woman!

I am currently facinated with Paula Nadelsterns Kaleidoscope Quilts , and would love to spend a day "seeing" what she "see's" in fabrics.
