My room combines my two loves, quilting and anything tropical. So my walls are a soft green and the ceiling is a pale yellow, and the valances are a cheery tropical print, green palm fronds and tropical colorful parrots. And it has elvira in it (that's my featherweight)so it's a wonderful place to sew (barefoot).

I had a soft buttery yellow by Benjamin Moore on the walls of my former quilting room. I loved it. But my present room is just painted off white. I never had time to apply any color before I moved into it. Now I wouldn't dare try! 8-)

Wow! I'm so impressed with your sewing room. It's so bright, cheery and not a thing out of place!

I have wood paneling on all the walls and hard wood flooring. It used to be a room two of my boys shared so the paneling at the time was a good choice. I have so much other stuff around that the room is peaceful, but messy. I also have a twin bed on one wall that my closest friend, closer than a sister, sleeps in about once a month when she comes for the weekend.
