I think I'd like that. Will have to find a local shop that sells it. I'm a gadget person.

As one who has cut the tip of her finger off in a rotary cutter accident, this device looks really good to me. Thanks for sharing the pictures, I'll be sure to keep an eye on it for the future.

I too have cut my self cutting and messed up quite a few cuts. To me it would pay for itself in wasted fabric. What shop sells them? I'm in Indiana.

Maybe if we watch carefully, someone will have it on sale for a good price, or Joann's will carry it where we can use their 40% off coupon. I think it's a great idea. I can't spend that much money because I keep spending all the extra $$$$ on FABRIC!!! LOL
It's like the Sew Ezi table. I want one so badly, but $249 for one is a LOT of money. I'll probably break down and order one next month though because they're so awesome for retreats and workshops.

Default OMNIGRID safety cutting gadget

Your gadget provides same safety as one Omnigrid makes that looks like a large telephone receiver that has suction cups on it..
The cups lock onto large and midsize rulers holding the ruler steady to prevent you from slicing your fingers.

I got one at Jo Ann fabrics for under $8 last week with a coupon (reg price was $14) .

Love it, making a quilt for a wounded warrior and its attached to my 6x24 ruler right now--used it
yesterday.

Thanks for sharing, I think it is a great tool. Expensive ,maybe so, but if it is something you want, why not!

Default Slipping rulers

The gift looks wonderful! I use sandpaper dots on my rulers....they work great. They can be purchased for about $4.00.
