I'm looking for novelty/children's fabric that has funny-scary creatures, like small monsters. That sort of thing. They have to be a neon like color on a bright or black background. I have a collection now, but since the quilt I'm making has to have one of each type, no repeats, I'm running low. I collected all of these over the last few years, but now I find that fewer and fewer stores and sites any longer have them. I went to my LQS (quite a drive for me) yesterday and found nothing! Not a single one. I ended up getting a couple of background fabrics for them, but not any creatures. This A.M. I've been searching my favorite sites on-line and have come up empty handed. Do any of you know where I might find an abundance of these fabrics? Or at least a few? I wanted to finish this project before Halloween, but time is getting short, and so is my supply of scary creatures! TIA for any help. 8-)

Or, you can print your creatures on fabric and use them.

Thanks everyone for your web sites and suggestions. I've checked all the sites so far and only found a couple of the type I need. I had looked at the Bug site before, but this time they had a couple more, so I'll order them.Thank you also Charisma for your very kind offer. If you don't mind taking the pics that might be very helpful.
I imagine more people will be on-line tonight and I might hear about something more. We'll see.

I have some fairly bright Pokemon figures in the bits I have that have a black background.
I also have some of the 'girl bugs' fabric with the lady bugs, butterflies and dragonfiles on the bright lime green.

Would either of them work? What size do you need?

Thank you for the offer.
I don't know about the Pokemon figures. But the "girl" ones won't work. This is for my young grandson who is going through the phase where anything girly is"Ugh!" to him. What I'm using up to this point is a little scary. Such as neon bright monsters and worms, etc. They are scary but smiling at the same time. Know what I mean? Just scary enough!
I have placed them in the doorway of the weird and whacky houses I've created. The houses are in all kinds of very bright colors with some black in each one. Since the figures were of different sizes, according to what I had, I'm making the houses to fit the characters. Before I put them all together I'll square them up by using different widths of sashing. It's kinda hard to describe.

You did an excellent job describing! That sounds like a really cute and fun quilt. Hope you can find more monster fabric. You'd think it wouldn't be so hard this time of year with halloween prints.
