I am looking for the recommendation for the basting length. I want to know how close together my basting should be??? Thanks.

I usually do my rows about 4 inches apart in both directions

I baste about 1.5 to 2" apart.

Link, why so close? or are you talking about the length of your stitches?

I've had shifting in the past and just baste that close.
