i'm up, too. but don't know of any and cuyaghoga falls is my brother's neck of the woods....Google and see what you get. I then look at websites and see what the websites look like. I generally have not been disappointed. You know something?? It's hard to type w/ a cat on your lap!!

Actually i was but missed this! Try polkapot pincushion in richfield. Not sure what route you would be taking but you should be able to get there from 77. http://www.pdpincushion.com/contact-us.htm
there is also a small but nice shop on Rt 94 in Granger, http://www.littleredquilthouse.com/Contact_Us.html

Oh mY!!! Thank you for the reminder of both of those!! I have been to both - The Little Red Quilt House is cute - and it is really a Little Red house. That is where I first learned about Frixion pens....and if you like to hand quilt - she has stencils - ask though because they are in the back.

The Polk-a-dot pincushion is on Rt 303 - not too far off I-271....It's in a newer set of shops. She has some cute fabrics. Just past the store, on the same side of the street, is this antique place - he had lots of cool yard stuff outside. Now that it's getting cooler, don't know if it'll be out or not.

If you're REALLY into antiquing - when hitting the Little Red Quilt House, there's the Medina Antique Mall that is in a bldg what looks like it may have been a Kmart type store at one point, it's on the left side(north side) of Rt 18 if you would be coming off of I-71.

Piece in time is just a few minutes south of Cuyahoga Falls. I'm from Cuyahoga Falls so surprised to see our little city being mentioned on the forum this morning.

thanks everyone! had a great trip today (2 hrs each way) and i did put money down on a crown jewel and i was able to go to the polka dot pincushion, little red quilt shop, and i also stopped at Abigayles in Olmsted Falls. all delightful quilt shops and i bought something at each of them!

Krsy - we'll be going back to pick up my machine soon, so will hopefully be able to check out a piece in time . . . the Cuyahoga Falls area is beautiful!

thanks again!
