2010 thread ... Tutorial on Hickory Nut quilt blocks ... has pictures on this....GLAD I came back to this site !!!! Love the idea of Christmas ornaments..

I really like the potholders. I can't wait to try making one. I have a large hexagon die, I should be able to cut the center pieces down. or I wonder if it would be smater to try making the larger pieces by cutting since I only have one size die.

I have made a quilt using these hexagons...they make an excellent portable project...there are free patterns at www.kiwiquilts.co.nz
