I finially finished the first round of the Chinese Puzzle and will try to send it on it's way tomorrow or the next day. I kept looking at it for days and finially decided it needed to have a trellis and some vines on two sides.

Wow..that looks great Barb! I do like the trellis on the 2 sides only...adds some punch to it!

I embroder the leaves and flowers. Used French knots for the flowers and tried to make the vine weave inbetween the slats of the trellis. It was fun to do.

I sent mgrhs84's top to Calico92402 today. Now to start working on JANW's. I am going to keep looking at it and letting it give me a clue as to what to do..

Here's Sandpats centre with the first border (2 rows) - plain & simple I feel this is what was called for to prevent it from looking too busy.
