I saw this at JoAnn too and loved it! So prefect for the sewing room.

It would be great for holding scissors, small rulers, seam rippers, etc. near the sewing machine. I use a mug right now for those things. But, will look for this next time I am in JoAnns. Unfortunately I have to travel to get to one.

I bought it in two sizes...So far I've used them for a catchall (pencil, seam ripper etc.), and as a small flower holder (just put a little vase inside and then put the flowers in it.) But my favorite use was to put a l a little tissue paper in the bottom and then put a tub of cream cheese in it to serve muffins to my quilt bee. Top of tub was level with top of thimble....Right now, I have one holding a collection of fall leaves (fall comes late to Texas).

I can see a store all and giant pin cushion, in that thimbles future.

I can think of alot of ways to put that to use in the sewing room! Nice find.
Where are you in Alaska...we lived in Anchorage for 31 years before leaving there 10 yrs. ago. Loved it and miss it! Just don't miss the winters!
